The work consists of providing annual window cleaning services for Bartlett Regional Hospital and other medical facilities for the City and Borough of Juneau. The contractor is required to supply all equipment and supplies needed for the services, in compliance with OSHA regulations, at no extra cost. The contractor must ensure all windows are washed clean, free of streaks, smears, and soap residue, with dirt, paint specs, and foreign debris removed. Frames and windowsills should be scrubbed and wiped dry. Safety protocols must be observed for overhead work, including closing off pedestrian areas, posting appropriate signage, and using safety equipment such as cones and signs. Inside work must accommodate occupants' needs, including moving and returning items and protecting the area from drips. All personnel must be qualified, supervised, and adhere to smoke-free and substance-free policies. Notification must be given to building occupants before exterior cleaning, and the work must be scheduled and completed within ten working days unless otherwise approved. Any damages must be reported immediately, and all work is subject to review and acceptance by the City. References, permits, and compliance with all laws, general terms, and insurance requirements are expected. Award is based on total quote to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting all requirements.
