Intent: This project will result in the immediate purchase and delivery of three (3) Return Activated Sludge (RAS) Pumps, as specified, for the City & Borough of Juneau (CBJ), Juneau-Douglas Water Treatment Plant (JDWTP). The RAS pumps are critical to operations at the JDWTP. CBJ is replacing two (2) RAS pumps that are nearing their life-span and also seeks one (1) additional pump to have in inventory as a backup. The pumps will be replacing a Wilo brand Emufk202-4/27. See technical specifications for all new pump requirements. Instructions to Bidders: Timely electronic responses are accepted exclusively via Public Purchase, CBJ’s eProcurement provider. Suppliers must complete the free two-step registration process at least 24 hours prior to deadline to ensure access. Late responses will not be accepted. Bidders must complete and submit the following: (1) Complete the online line-item pricing or upload the provided PDF bid schedule (do not submit more than one pricing schedule); (2) Download, complete and upload all required solicitation documents (such as bidder's signature page, equivalent/variance page if needed, references page); (3) Online acknowledgement of the Terms & Conditions (Attachment A). Use only the documents provided. Contractors are given the opportunity to acknowledge, acknowledge with exceptions, or not accept the required documents. Exceptions may not qualify for award. CBJ Purchasing Division of Finance is the sole point of contact for all matters pertaining to this solicitation. All questions must be submitted in writing through the specified channels. Any changes will be issued as an addendum which will become part of the solicitation.
