The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor and materials to complete the Bryant Commons Entrance Improvements. The project will consist of 500 LF 30” Curb & Gutter, 900 SY Asphalt Pavement, 175 SY Sidewalk plus associated improvements. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid for the completed work. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the closing time scheduled for receipt of bids. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Award of the contract, if it is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder. The M/WBE goal for this project is 4% MBE and 4% WBE, for a total M/WBE participation of 8%. All M/WBE documents must be submitted in a separate sealed envelope, otherwise the bid may be rejected. Plans and Specifications must be obtained no later than five (5) working days before the bid date. Pre-qualification requirements: Each contractor must prequalify for bid by submitting a completed "Statement of Bidder Qualifications" form supplied by the Engineer. Bids will be accepted from prequalified bidders only. Requests for interpretations of Drawings and Specifications must be made in writing to the Engineer no later than seven (7) days prior to date set for receipt of bids, and failure on the part of the successful bidder to do so shall not relieve him as Contractor of the obligation to execute such work in accordance with a later interpretation by the Engineer Question Deadline 04/21/2026
