The City of Merriam, Kansas is seeking a licensed, qualified contractor to submit bid proposals for the removal and installation of residential driveways. The program addresses driveways for residents with financial need and driveways in disrepair. The City has pre-selected and inspected participating households and prepared general diagrams for replacement work. Five driveways may potentially be included, and bidders must review and familiarize themselves with each location prior to bidding. Bids must be submitted as separate, lump sum bids for each driveway, with a bid required for each listed driveway. The City reserves the right to determine which, if any, driveways will be repaired or replaced, and the contract will be awarded to one bidder.
