Sealed bids for the 2026 CARS - 51st and 55th Street Project will be received by the City of Roeland Park. All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and marked appropriately. Plans, specifications, bid documents, and other contract documents are available for viewing or purchase as specified. Bidders must read and be fully familiar with all contract documents before submitting a bid and must visit the site to inform themselves of existing conditions and limitations. Bids must include all work items, and any defects found must be addressed through the procedures outlined in the contract. Written addenda must be considered in the bid, and only written instructions are valid. Bids are for a total package, total contract price. The bid must be made on the provided form, in ink or typewritten, with numbers both written and in figures, and without alteration or erasure. For items not bid on, a written indication of 'no bid' is required. No oral, telegraphic, facsimile, or telephonic bids will be considered. The sealed envelope must include the bid and a 5% bid security, which can be a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check. The bid security requirements and return procedures are outlined in the instructions. Project No. 0325072.01 and 0325061.01 The Project is the 2026 CARS Project for W 51st and 55th Streets located in the cities of Roeland Park, Mission, and Fairway, KS. The scope includes mill and overlay of existing street and bringing the existing sidewalk into ADA compliance through residential driveways. Storm sewer segments are included for replacement. Question Deadline 04/08/2026 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding/Contract Documents shall make a written request, which shall reach the City Engineer
