Remodeling of a municipal facility in Valentine, Nebraska. Working plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
The work includes removal and relocation of existing electrical components, new branch circuit wiring, panel modifications, lighting fixtures and controls, exit and emergency lighting, receptacles and switches, and related electrical work as shown on the drawings and specified, all in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. All labor, materials, equipment, permits, inspections, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the electrical scope of work shall be included. Bidders must provide and maintain general liability insurance covering bodily injury and property damage, and workers' compensation insurance as required by Nebraska law. Certificates of insurance must be submitted prior to commencement of work. Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the bid title. Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the project site prior to submitting a bid and are responsible for examining the site and familiarizing themselves with existing conditions affecting the work. Failure to visit the site will not relieve the successful bidder from performing the work for the submitted bid price. The City reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids.
