Renovation of a water / sewer project in Huntington, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 462-square-foot water / sewer project.

The Project Work includes but is not limited to the complete removal of the existing roof and wood deck assembly, installation of a new membrane roof system, metal roof deck and perimeter deck supports, framed roof openings, flashing, and accessories to complete the warrantable specified system. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Huntington Stormwater Utility in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. Bidders are required to have a West Virginia contractor's license per 21-11-11 of the WV Code. All elements of the Project shall meet Economic Development Administration (EDA) requirements, including, but not limited to, design requirements, bidding process, reporting, construction, grant administration, and documentation throughout the Project. All bidders must be "Equal Opportunity Employers" and comply with the appropriate provisions of State and Federal law. Federal Davis-Bacon Act wage rate determinations are inserted as part of the Bidding Documents and the requirements of which shall be incorporated into the Bid by the CONTRACTOR. If the construction Contract price exceeds $100,000, the Owner, EDA, the Comptroller General of the United States, the Inspector General of the Department of Commerce, or any of their duly authorized representatives, shall have access to any documents, books, papers, and records of the CONTRACTOR (which are directly pertinent to a specific grant program) for the purpose of making an audit, examination, excerpts, and transcriptions. The OWNER shall require the CONTRACTOR to maintain all required records for at least three (3) years after the OWNER makes final payment and all pending matters are closed.
