Renovation of an office development in San Mateo, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development.

District Office HVAC, Roofing, and Switchgear Replacement Project Question Deadline: 4:00 P.M, April 1, 2026. Bid period questions relative to the building project are to be submitted to Mark Sherrill Sr. Construction Project Manager msherrill@smfc.k12.ca.us and Metin Serttunc Cypress Engineering Group Metin@cypress.com The project consists of re-roofing the existing building, replacing HVAC units with owner-supplied units, and replacing the existing switchgear with owner-provided switchgear. All bids must be submitted on the form provided and must conform to all pertinent contract documents. Bidders must provide a bid bond, cash, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price as security for their bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% performance bond and a 100% payment bond. All workers on the project must be paid at least the general prevailing wage rates as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, State of California. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount only, using a process that conceals the identity of bidders from the District until the bids have been ranked. Certain proprietary materials or systems must be used as specified: Schlage for door hardware, Delta for the energy management system, and Notifier for the fire alarm system. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must have been prequalified by the District through Quality Bidders at www.qualitybidders.com. Any first-tier subcontractors performing electrical (C-10), mechanical (C-20), or roofing (C-39) work must also have been prequalified by the District through Quality Bidders. Bidders are required to possess an active and good standing State of California A or B General Contractor license at the time of bid opening and throughout the contract term. The Project consists of : a . Re-roofing of existing building b. Replacing HVAC units to owner supply units C. Replacing the existing switchgear to owner provide switchgear . The Project is to construct new owner provided HVAC units , demo and replacement of roof and to install a owner provided new switchgear .
