Site work for a civil project in Collingwood, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and road / highway.
The work involves the reconstruction of Fair Street from Maple Street to Hurontario Street, Victory Drive from Hurontario Street to Ste. Marie Street, Katherine Street from Collins Street to Lockhart Road, and Second Street from Cedar Street to Oak Street. The scope includes 681 meters of sanitary sewer replacement and associated services and structures; 748 meters of watermain replacement and services, and hydrant installation; 695 meters of storm sewer replacement and associated structures; and 720 meters of road reconstruction to an urban cross section, complete with barrier and mountable curb and gutter and restoration of all associated disturbed areas, including driveways, sidewalks, topsoil, sod, and surface elements within the boulevard. Bidders must provide bid security in the amount of 10% of the bid amount, and supply an agreement to bond covering a performance bond (50% of the total tender amount) and a labour and material bond (50% of the total tender amount). Substantial performance is required by October 30, 2026.
