This project involves upgrades to the Secondary Clarifiers at the Collingwood Wastewater Treatment Plant. The work includes removal and off-site disposal of telescopic valves and floor stands, riser pipes, sludge wells, flight support angles, flight connecting chains and chain attachment links, scum troughs, and appurtenances. It requires cleaning and pressure washing of the secondary clarifier basins and concrete launders for inspection. The scope also covers the supply and installation of telescopic valves and floor stands, riser pipes, sludge wells, flight support angles, flight connecting chains, chain attachment links, scum troughs with manual hand lever operator, v-notch weir plates, and related appurtenances. The supply of spare flight connecting chains and chain attachment links, provisional supply of spare parts (including flights, wear shoes, guide shoes, spacer blocks, and idler sprockets), as well as concrete and guard repairs, are included. Bidders should note that a site visit/pre-bid meeting is mandatory. Bid security in the amount of 10% of the bid price is required, along with an agreement to bond (Performance Bond and Labour & Material Bond each at 50% of the total Tender amount).
