Bids are requested for a contract with the Orleans/Niagara Board of Cooperative Educational Services for asbestos abatement at the Tonawanda Creek Learning Center. The contractor is responsible for paying prevailing wages to all employees as indicated in the New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Schedule. Contractors must post the wage schedule at the jobsite, provide copies to all contractors, and obtain affidavits from subcontractors confirming they have received the schedule. The successful bidder is expected to hold prices for 60 days after the notice of bid award, during which Orleans/Niagara BOCES can make purchases. Sealed bids labeled 'ASBESTOS ABATEMENT' must be submitted to the Administration Building--Conference Room, Orleans-Niagara BOCES, 4232 Shelby Basin Road, New York, 14103.
