Seeking sealed bids for the Water Treatment Plant HVAC Improvements Contract. This Contract consists of upgrades to the HVAC system at the Water Treatment Plant and associated supporting electrical and controls infrastructure. Providing all labor, materials, permits, testing, demolition of existing equipment, and commissioning to complete the HVAC and boiler work as generally described below and indicated on the Drawings and Specifications. 1. Supply and install two ventilation-and-heating-only air handling units, including demolition and removal of the existing AHUs. Provide hot water coils. 2. Replace two boiler circulation pumps, the air separator, and the expansion tank; provide a complete chemical water treatment system (feed equipment, testing, and treatment program). Flush, chemically treat, and pressure-test the hydronic system and repair any leaksto passtesting. 3. Demolish and replace all hot-water unit heaters with hydronic unit heaters; 4. Retain existing ductwork where feasible, patch/repair and re-seal as required, install necessary volume and motorized dampers (replace motorized dampers as needed), and provide TAB to verify airflow distribution. 5. Alternate 1: If the Alternate is awarded, provide design, equipment, installation, and commissioning of a new heat pump system for the electrical room.
