Renovation of an educational facility in Westfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed Bids are invited for the General Contract for the Westfield Middle School Chiller Project. The project involves the removal of obsolete cooler and refrigerator units within the school, and includes constructing new walls, ceilings, and flooring within the former coolers and freezers. Sealed Bids must be clearly marked as "City of Westfield Middle School Project, Bid No. 26-033." Drawings and Specifications are available for review at the office of the Purchasing Director and can be accessed through a web-portal after contacting the Purchasing Department. No printed copies will be provided. A voluntary pre-bid meeting is scheduled at the Westfield Middle School, and attendance requires signing in at the main office. All questions are to be submitted by the stated deadline. Wage rates for the project are governed by state regulations. The bidding and awarding process must comply with relevant Massachusetts General Laws. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any or all bids. The City of Westfield encourages participation by minority and women-owned enterprises.Questions will be due by 4/7/2026
