Sealed proposals are invited for the Dupont Borough Paving Project 2026, which includes a Base Bid of approximately 2,000 S.Y. of 1.5" Depth Milling, 2,000 S.Y. of 9.5 mm Superpave WMA Wearing Course, 200 S.Y of Pavement Base Replacement, 120 Ton of 19 MM Superpave Leveling Course, and 2 manhole and inlet adjustments; with an Add Alternate Bid for approximately 2,270 S.Y. of 1.5" Depth Milling, 2,270 S.Y. of 9.5 mm Superpave WMA Wearing Course, 230 S.Y of Pavement Base Replacement, 140 Ton of 19 MM Superpave Leveling Course, and 1 manhole and inlet adjustment. Bidders must be PennDOT Prequalified as specified in section 102.01, of Publication 408. Contractors qualifying as subcontractors may submit bids as a prime contractor, consistent with their qualifications and as specified in section 108.01, Publication 408. A Prequalification Certification and Applicable Capacity Rating assigned by the Prequalification Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is required. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified/cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, made payable to Dupont Borough. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof or to waive any informalities. Bidders must comply with Executive Order 11246 regarding non-discrimination, and PA Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates apply for the duration of the project. Only bidders obtaining documents through Colwell-Naegele Associates, Inc. will be on record for addenda. Digital copies are available upon payment of a non-refundable fee.
