Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in New Canaan, Connecticut. Design plans call for the construction of a 18-unit multi-residential development; and 89-space parking garage.
This project is currently under evaluation by the New Canaan Affordable Housing Committee. Two conceptually similar development schemes are being considered for the site, differing primarily in building form and layout. One option consists of 18 townhouse-style affordable housing units with 89 parking spaces, while the second proposes a single 20-unit apartment building with 91 parking spaces. Both concepts remain in the preliminary planning stage as the As of July 14, 2026, this project is in conceptual planning with the Affordable Housing Committee of New Canaan. Several sites with alternate schemes have been proposed; however, no official decisions have been made. An architect has been selected; however, information regarding the selection of a general contractor has not been disclosed.
