The City of Kelowna is seeking submissions from qualified contractors for the full segment Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation of approximately 400 metres of 900 mm and 1200 mm diameter corrugated metal storm trunk sewer, including storm sewer bypassing to facilitate lining and associated outfall riprap armouring improvements. The Work can be briefly summarized as follows: Full segment cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation of approximately 205 m of 900 mm and 195 m of 1200 mm diameter corrugated metal storm trunk sewer. Placement of approximately 50 m2 of MOTT Class 25 riprap at 1781 Highland Drive North at the outfall of the segment to be lined. Bypassing of the storm sewer to facilitate lining which is anticipated to include: Temporary pumping with standby pumps, Overland piping, Crossings to maintain traffic access using shallow bury piping and road ramp, and Installation of a new manhole to facilitate. Pre- and post-lining CCTV and cleaning. Quality control testing. Site restoration. Development of planning documents required for the project (environmental management plan, sewer bypassing plan, traffic management plan, etc.).
