The proposed scope of work includes the following: Construction of an upgraded access route between Postill Lake and South Lake Dam. Constructing a dedicated access route for ATVs around the downstream toe of the dam and constructing a bridge over the low-level outlet (LLO) outflow channel to complete the dedicated access route. Levelling the dam crest and filling any ruts. Replacing the existing left (south) dam toe drainage collection system. Installing a right (north) dam toe drainage system. Adding riprap to the upstream dam face. Removing the existing 3.07 m wide spillway and replacing it with a new 10 m wide spillway. Removing and replacing the existing log boom system. Removal of trees and shrubs within 20 m of the dam structure.
