Clement Crosstown Connector Segment 1 from Spall Road to Highway 33. The Clement Crosstown Connector is a major transportation infrastructure initiative intended to improve east-west connectivity and mitigate traffic congestion through the Midtown area of Kelowna supporting long-term growth of the region. The Clement Crosstown Connector Segment 1 will extend Clement Avenue from Spall Road to the intersection of Highway 33, incorporating new travel lanes, multi-lane roundabouts, large intersections upgrades, new bridges and retaining walls, new and upgraded active transportation facilities including grade-separations of the Okanagan Rail Trail. TIMELINE: Request for proposals from qualified Multidisciplinary Design Teams to provide professional engineering services to advance the design services, is underway. The selected firm will support the city through all remaining phases including planning, design, procurement, construction and close-out. Further update in late summer 2026, upon award.
