Description

Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Santa Cruz, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Removal of existing synthetic track surfacing. Stripping of existing grass and dirt shoulder immediately adjacent to existing track. Temporary relocation of irrigation heads conflicting with work to be performed. Repair of existing asphalt substrate including crack repair, filling and leveling of potholes and repair of asphalt edging. Cleaning and preparation of existing and repaired asphalt substrate. Placement of new synthetic track surfacing. Replacement of grass where removed and repositioning of irrigation heads to original location. Minor fine grading at track shoulder outside of lawn area. Bidders may be required to submit qualifications with their bids as set forth in the Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. Only bidders who participate in the Pre-Bid Conference and Job Walk in its entirety will be allowed to bid on the Project as prime contractors. Estimated construction cost (for Base Bid Only): $690,000.00 Question Deadline 04/08/2026 at 5:00 PM PT Requests for clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall be received no later than this date and addressed to Christian Harris, University of California, Santa Cruz.
