Proposals are invited from qualified companies for RFP#2026-06 GUARD BOOTH, NEW CANAAN HIGH SCHOOL. The selected contractor must enter into a contract requiring performance and payment bonds, submission of insurance certificates, and compliance with Federal, State, and Local Laws and ordinances. Each proposal must include a proposal surety in the form of a bank check, bid bond, or certified check amounting to ten percent (10%) of the total RFP price. Three (3) copies of the qualifications and proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed as specified. No fax or email submissions are accepted, and late proposals will not be considered. The New Canaan Public Schools reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or waive any irregularities as deemed in its best interest. The general scope of work is to remove the guard shack from its present location and provide a new guard shack that will be located in the main entrance (driveway) access area for the New Canaan High School (Owner). The scope of work shall include, but not be limited to, the following. The owner shall prepurchase the Guard Booth, take delivery and store it at the project site. Contractor shall take ownership of Guard Booth at the commencement of the project. Deenergize and disconnect electrical feeder to Guard Booth and remove conductors back to building lower level junction box. Disconnect and remove cabling associated with security cameras and lockdown horn/strobe device. Remove cabling back to source. Return security cameras and lockdown horn/strobe back to owner. Remove and dispose of Guard Booth enclosure. Remove and dispose of Guard Booth foundation. Sawcut and remove concrete walkway, curbs and bituminous pavement. Prepare conduits for extension into new Guard Booth footprint. Provide new foundation for Guard Booth. Extend conduits into Guard Booth footprint. Provide conduits for future gate operators into new Guard Booth footprint. Provide all conductors, fiber and cabling. Provide concrete island for Guard Booth and gate operators. Provide concrete walkway, curbs, back fill, bituminous pavement, soil, grass and safety striping. Install and secure Guard Booth. Provide protective bollards. Reinstall all signage
