The project will consist of, but is not limited to: asphalt paving replacement and installation of playground equipment. Contractor's License required: General A Sealed proposals will be received for the Cedar Lane Playground Paving Replacement Project. Faxed bids will not be accepted. A mandatory bidder's conference will be held at Cedar Lane Elementary, and any inquiries to site or staff, or visits to the site other than the job walk, will deem the bid non-responsive. Bid documents, including plans and specifications, are posted on the District's website. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid received. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. General a. Coordination with other contractors is required on this project, including coordination between the general contractor and the district's vendors for low voltage systems (phone, internet, security, Intrusion, etc.), furnishings, the owner's representatives, and district personnel. 2. Demolition a. Removal of fencing, removal of relocatable buildings on wood pad foundations, utilities and paving as required for the new modular buildings. 3. Site a. New surfacing, grading and drainage. b. New walks, paving, and utilities. c. Concrete foundation for the new buildings as noted on drawings. 4. Building a. Refer to drawings for site-specific scope descriptions. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a lease-leaseback contract.
