Question Deadline 08/01/2025: Bidders must direct all questions about the meaning or intent of Bidding Documents to the District in writing. Questions received less than (7) seven calendar days prior to the date for opening Bids. Notice is hereby given that the Olivehurst Public Utility District will receive sealed bids from bidders for the Project at 1970 9th Ave, Olivehurst, CA 95961. The existing Tesco PLC has failed and has caused the Well Site to become non-operational. This Project consists of replacing the existing Tesco PLC with a new Allen Bradley PLC and OIT, programming, and testing and startup to restore the operation of the facility. This project consists of removing the existing propriety Tesco PLC with a non-propriety Allen Bradely PLC along with the reprogramming and start-up of the facility with the new PLC Bidders shall have a California C10 Contractors License and use a UL 508A recognized panel shop for work performed in the PLC cabinet. Completion of Work: All work shall be completed within 180 calendar days for the date when the Contract Time commences to run. Owner specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all Bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work. The District may reject any and all Bids and waive any minor irregularities in the Bids. This Project is subject to prevailing wage compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.
