Renovation of a mixed-use development in Salisbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 20,900-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and educational facility.
Base Bid: Complete interior renovation of the Central Offices, including but not limited to selective demolition, new partitions, doors and hardware, ceilings, finishes, millwork, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. Also included is the renovation and improvement of the exterior facade serving the central offices, such as the exterior finishes, openings, weatherproofing, and related architectural elements to achieve a cohesive exterior improvement. Add Alternate: Provision of separate add alternate pricing for exterior renovation work at the north and south adjacent wings connected to the Central Offices. Work at each wing includes new facade, exterior doors, windows, awnings, and concrete stoops as defined in the Contract Documents. Each wing must be priced independently to provide flexibility in award to the Owner. Signed and sealed bids, along with bid security, must be submitted. Bid envelopes must display the project name, name and address of the bidder, bid title or description, date and time of bid opening, and the notation, "SEALED BID - DO NOT OPEN." No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days after opening.
