No Proposals Will Be Considered Unless Accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check or Bid Bonds in an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Bid, Made Payable to the Lander County Public Works Department. No Proposal Will Be Accepted From a Contractor Who is Not Licensed for This Type of Work in Accordance With the Applicable Nevada Revised Statutes and Qualified by the Nevada State Contractor's Board Prior to Bidding of the Job. The Principal Items of Work for the Lander County Railway Park Project - Civil Work Will Consist of (Excluding Bid Alternates): Mobilization, Creating a Swppp and Managing the Associated Documentation and Mass Earthwork Including Excavation, Embankment, Grading, and Site Preparation Within the Union Pacific's Property and the Interchange Yard; Construction of Subgrade and Structural Fill; Furnishing and Placing Subballast, Encasements of Underground Utilities With Markers Including Water, Sewer; Utility Trenching and Backfill; Removing Some Existing Fencing and Pole LINE and All Incidental Work Necessary to Prepare the Site for Future Railroad Track Improvements, All in Accordance With the Plans and Specifications. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Minor Irregularities in Any Bid or in the Bidding Process. No Bidder May Withdraw Their Bid Within Thirty (30) Days After the Actual Date of the Opening Thereof. The Lander County Commissioners Will Consider Awarding the Contract at the Following Regularly Scheduled Commissioner's Meeting.
