Demolition, site work, new construction and addition to a mixed-use development in Battle Mountain, Nevada. Completed plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the construction of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and water / sewer project.
The principal items of work for the LANDER COUNTY LANDER COUNTY FIRE STATION / EMS will consist of (excluding bid alternates): Site demolition, grading and drainage, utility installation (including water, sewer, storm drain, power, gas, conduit), concrete flatwork, landscaping and irrigation, building construction of a new Fire Station / EMS facility including structural concrete and steel framing, architectural finishes, mechanical systems, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems, as well as associated site improvements and coordination with existing infrastructure. No proposals will be considered unless accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check or bid bonds in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to the LANDER COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT. No proposal will be accepted from a Contractor who is not licensed for this type of work in accordance with the applicable Nevada Revised Statutes and qualified by the Nevada State Contractor's Board prior to bidding of the job. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities in any bid or in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
