The Lander County Commissioners will consider awarding the contract at the regularly scheduled Commissioner's Meeting. To assure consideration, all proposals shall be made on the blank form of the proposal attached to the project specifications. The completed forms shall be included in the bound proposal and shall be enclosed and sealed in an envelope which is addressed to LANDER COUNTY CLERK, 50 State Route 305, Battle Mountain, Nevada 89820, and marked “ LANDER COUNTY 2025 PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PROJECT .” Faxed Proposals will not be accepted . The Principal items of work for the LANDER COUNTY 2025 PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PROJECT will consist of (including bid alternates): Cleaning and crack jetting: Existing cracks in the pavement surface will be cleaned and prepared using high-pressure air and/or hot lance crack jetting to remove debris and moisture, ensuring proper adhesion of the crack sealant. Crack sealing: A hot-applied rubberized sealant will be placed into the prepared cracks to prevent water infiltration and reduce further deterioration of the pavement structure. Micro paving: asphaltic emulsion mixed with finely graded aggregate will be applied over the roadway surface. Selected roadways will receive a combination cape seal treatment. Base bid 282,208 square yards (SY). Bid Alternate No. 1 an additional 264,680 SY. No proposals will be considered unless accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bonds in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to the LANDER COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT. No proposal will be accepted from a Contractor who is not licensed for this type of work in accordance with the applicable Nevada Revised Statutes and qualified by the Nevada State Contractor's Board prior to bidding of the job. The specifications and Plans can be mailed at an additional charge to cover the cost of postage and handling or downloaded electronically, after receipt of payment . Make checks payable to A.M.
