A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Bay County Board of County Commissioners seeks responses from qualified vendors to provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, and supplies to renovate the interior office space at the Bay County Utility Services Administrative Building located at 3410 Transmitter Rd. Panama City, Florida, 32404. Submissions must be electronic or sealed paper, and any submission received after the specified time will not be considered. Question Submission Deadline:April 24, 2026, 5:00pm Bidders shall submit all questions, in writing, to the Purchasing Department via email Purchasing@baycountyfl.gov. All construction will be as per VBA Design drawings dated 11/11/2025 and VBA Addendum 1. - Remove conference room wall enlarging into the hallway. - Construct 6 new offices adding doors in the existing reception area, printer and mail room areas removing the elevated floor. - Construct a new reception and work space area adjacent to the lobby public restroom and opposite of the main lobby entry door. Reception face to be UL 752 Level 1: 1-1/4 Clear Acrylic with speak holes and pass throughs at bottom where it meets the countertop. - Customer Service Reception lobby wall to have Kevlar panels from floor to top of 1-1/4 Clear Acrylic windows. - Reception area door leading into the conference room to be solid wood. Door leading from the lobby to the office area to be solid wood with a rectangular Vision Lite panel/window with safety wire glass. - Reconfigure kitchen/break room to have L-shaped countertop adding cabinets, relocating ice machine and adding range with hood. - Reconfigure the customer lobby and employee men's and women's restrooms as per VBA Drawings. - Reconfigure water fountain/bottle fill area in corridor adding a curved countertop. - Add new acoustical ceiling tiles where needed. - Add new LED light fixtures with brightness control switches. (No sensors). - Add new carpet tile throughout with the exception of the break room and restrooms, - LVT flooring to be installed in the Kitchen/break room. Customer to choose color. - Epoxy coating to be applied over existing floor in the employee men's and women's bathrooms and applied to the flooring in the customer lobby bathroom. Customer to choose color Existing employee men's and women's bathroom wall tile needs to be demoed and new wall tile to be installed 48" high. Customer to choose color. - No wall tile needs to be removed or added to the lobby bathroom. -Prime and paint 2 coats of paint to new walls. - Run electrical to the (2) two modular units. Electrician to assess to determine exact service and wire size and working with FPL to have power run from transformer to pole. - Run 1" conduit with a pull line to the (2) two modular units that will be used for fiber. Run to the west center end of the smaller modular and run to the south center end of the larger modular unit.
