Renovation of a recreation facility in Alexandria, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.
The work consists of all tasks related to the City of Alexandria - Alexandria Zoological Park Digital Pylon Sign Refurbishment. This includes the refurbishment of the existing sign, installation of new wiring, a new message board, a new sign face, updated graphics, and related work. Bidders must submit separate sealed bids to the specified location and by the designated deadline. Bidding documents are available for examination at the address provided and may be obtained upon deposit. Bidders have the option to obtain and submit bids electronically via Central Bidding. Each bid requires a security deposit of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each equal to 100% of the contract amount. All bid bonds must be issued by a surety or insurance company meeting specified statutory requirements. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Provisions and requirements in the bidding documents will not be considered as informalities and will not be waived. The City of Alexandria encourages participation from small and minority-owned firms and women's business enterprises. Any person with disabilities requiring accommodations must contact the City in advance. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation ofthe Bidding Documents shall make a written request to the Architect, to reach him at least seven working days prior to the date for receipt ofbids.
