Site work and paving for a road / highway in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work includes seal coating for the Town of Shelby. The specific tasks are as follows: Single Chip Seal for approximately 2,560 square yards and Double Chip Seal for approximately 21,124 square yards. Roads requiring Single Chip Seal include Vanity Drive (North end, including the cul-de-sac). Roads requiring Double Chip Seal include Vanity Drive (CTH K to surface change), Janisch Road, Lisa Lane, Carla Court, Old Highway 35, Cottonwood Drive, Little Ave (all in the River Hills development), and Gronemus Road (CTH MM). The job must be completed by September 25, 2026. Proposals must be submitted in an opaque envelope marked with the bidder's name and address, accompanied by a bid bond of 5%. If sent by mail, the sealed envelope should be enclosed in a second envelope marked 'BID ENCLOSED' and addressed to Fortune M. Berg, Town Clerk. A performance/payment bond is required within 10 days after contract award. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject all bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 10 days after bid opening.
