The project consists of complete surface preparation and painting of all exterior surfaces for all buildings, including the 2-story building, portables, conex boxes, railings (steel and galvanized), poles, fences, block walls, marquee frame, minor repairs to existing artwork across the school, enclosures, doors, railings, signage, structural elements, fascia replacement, stencil removal and replacement, curb painting, and new room ADA signage. Instructions to bidders include: - Bid documents are available for download at no cost. - Bids must be submitted to the designated location by the specified deadline. - Each bid must include bid security as described in the instructions. - Bidders must have a valid C-33 contractor license. - Attendance at one of the mandatory pre-bid conferences and the site visit is required. - The contract will be awarded based on the base bid and alternates combined. - Successful bidders must provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract amount. - All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the DIR, and prevailing wages must be paid. - Substitution of securities in lieu of retention is permitted, and retention in excess of five percent will be withheld as specified. - The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR, and job-site notices must be posted as required.
