The project involves electrical design-build services for Quarry Park, which includes an RV park, playground equipment grading, and a dog park at the site known as the Old Stone Quarry, future home to The Quarry Park in North Vernon, Indiana. The scope includes electrical services for RV park campsites and restrooms, playground, parking lot lighting, power gate, and miscellaneous structures, as outlined in the Request for Proposals and 30% Scoping Documents. The city seeks a unique RV park and playground experience with nationally unique amenities that cater to all age groups and encourage outdoor activities, while blending into the natural landscape. Grade elevations for the playground area are determined by the equipment supplier and must be strictly followed. The scoping documents are intended as tools to deliver the best possible park outcome. Proposals must comply with the city's minimum requirements. Performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price, executed by an acceptable surety company, are required and must remain valid for the contract duration plus twelve months from substantial completion. The Owner reserves the right to reject or accept any proposal and to negotiate with proposers to achieve the best outcome. Proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked with the project name. No late, emailed, or incomplete proposals will be considered. Proposals can be withdrawn before the deadline but not for sixty days after submission. Bidders must provide information requested by the Owner to assess their ability to perform the work.
