Sealed bids are to be received for additions, renovations, and site improvements to William Henry Harrison High School at 5701 N 50 W, West Lafayette, IN. The work will be divided into seventeen prime bid packages covering general trades, sitework, landscaping, asphalt, selective demolition, stadium seating and press box, masonry, structural steel and miscellaneous metals, framing/drywall/ceiling, roofing, aluminum storefront and glazing, flooring and tiling, painting, kitchen equipment, fire suppression, HVAC and plumbing, and electrical. All bids must be itemized, executed on State Form 96 and Supplementary Bid Form, and accompanied by the contractor's most recent financial statement. Each bid must include a bid security in the penal amount of 5% of the total bid price, using AIA Document A310, a certified check, Indiana General Revised Form No. 96, “Contractors Combination Bid Bond and Bond for Construction,” or a form from an acceptable surety. Bidders must have read and understood the bidding documents, visited the project site, and based their bid on the provided drawings, specifications, and all described terms and conditions. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, including the bidder’s name, bid package number, address, and phone number on the envelope. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the opening date. Patterson Horth, Inc. reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities in bidding. Questions will be accumulated, researched, and distributed via addendum to all bidders.
