Site work and paving for a road / highway in West Lafayette, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of resurfacing several roads with a minor structural overlay, specifically Kestral Blvd, Sandpiper Ct S, and Sandpiper Dr. Bids must be submitted using the bid form and the State Board of Accounts Contractor's Bid for Public Work Form 96 (Revised 2013) in triplicate, with a properly executed non-collusion affidavit, and must comply with Indiana statutes and regulations. Bids must be sealed and accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond of at least five percent of the total bid price, made out to the City of West Lafayette. The successful bidder must enter into a required written agreement and provide a one hundred percent performance, payment, and guarantee bond. Wage rates must not be less than the common construction wage as determined by state law. Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Special Conditions, and Specifications are available from the Office of the City Engineer. Bids remain effective for sixty days. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities of bidding. The lowest and most responsive bid will be considered for acceptance.
