PROJECT OVERVIEW This project consists of renovations to the existing men's restroom and women's restroom. Work includes ADA-compliant upgrades, fixture replacements, layout modifications, and finish improvements. 2. RESTROOM RENOVATIONS (MEN'S & WOMEN'S RESTROOMS) 2.1 ADA Compliance Upgrades o Ensure ADA-compliant walkways and clearances o Adjust door closer speeds to meet ADA standards o Install automatic fixtures and dispensers o Install ADA-compliant grab bars and restroom accessories o All new fixtures and layouts to comply with ADA requirements 2.2 Flooring o Prepare, scrape, and finish concrete flooring with stain and sealer in both restrooms o Tile floor in men's 4'x3' shower area o Use existing floor drains 2.3 Mechanical & Ventilation o Replace exhaust fans in both restrooms 2.4 Plumbing Fixtures Both Restrooms o Install new ADA height pressure assist toilets with open front seat and trim with hands free flush device o Install wide pedestal sink with auto on/off fixtures (ADA compliant height) Men's Restroom o Remove last toilet, install one wall-hung ADA urinal with battery-operated flush valve to replace existing toilet o Install new shower and plumbing fixtures (ADA compliant) o Partition off shower area, lockable with thumb latch o Tile 4'x3' shower floor area o Cut block wall at sink area (right side) to match left side block wall depth Women's Restroom o Convert existing shower area to mop sink/service area 2.5 Partitions & Doors o Install new solid plastic partition dividers in both restrooms with 1 ADA stall each and ADA grab bars o Replace bathroom entry doors and include: o Toe kicks o Door closers (ADA compliant settings) 2.6 Lighting & Electrical o Install new LED light fixtures in both restrooms o Install automatic lighting switches/sensors 2.7 Finishes o Install new signage (ADA compliant) o Prepare and paint walls and ceilings in both restrooms 3. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS o All work shall comply with applicable building codes and ADA requirements. o Coordinate all plumbing, electrical, and mechanical modifications as required. o Contractor to verify all field dimensions prior to fabrication and installation. o Protect adjacent areas during construction. o Customer will provide dumpster and haul away demo materials.
