Renovation of an educational facility in San Bruno, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work consists of the Re-Bid Control Replacement at Capuchino High School Project. Each bid must be made out on the Bid Proposal Form included in the contract documents and must be fully responsive to this invitation, the plans and specifications, and all other contract documents. Contractors must be licensed by the California State Contractors' License Board to obtain contract documents. Bids must be accompanied by cash, a cashier's or certified check, or a bidder's bond in an amount not less than ten percent of the maximum amount of the bid, as a guarantee of contract execution and provision of required payment and performance bonds and insurance certificates within ten days after notification of award. The successful bidder must comply with provisions of the Labor Code regarding prevailing wage rates, apprenticeship or training programs, and implement best management practices for COVID-19 risk mitigation as applicable. The contractor must pay at least the specified wage rates to all workers and ensure compliance with any applicable federal, state, or local orders. Each bid must include the name and location of each subcontractor performing work exceeding one-half of one percent of the bid price. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening except as allowed by law. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in bidding. Minority, women, and disabled veteran contractors are encouraged to submit bids. The contract requires a "C-20" HVAC License. The contract is not subject to a labor compliance program as described in subdivision (b) of Section 1771.5 of the Labor Code. Any questions relative to the bid should be submitted in writing and directed to Greystone West via email to bradford@greystonewest.com, cc: miriam@greystonewest.com and jessica@greystonewest.com .
