Demolition and renovation of a road / highway in Welch, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a road / highway.
Sealed bids will be received for the demolition of selected properties in McDowell County. Bidders must submit one set of bid documents that includes adequate liability and property damage insurance, proof of valid workers compensation coverage, contractor's license, and all other necessary certification or paperwork (Non-Conflict of Interest Certification and Drug Free Workplace Conformance Affidavit). The bid documents must be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked visibly on the outside with "McDowell County Demolition Project One" and addressed to the McDowell County Clerk's Office. No bids will be accepted via facsimile or electronic submission. The County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities or informalities, and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
