Description

Demolition and renovation of a municipal facility in Welch, West Virginia. Completed plans call civil work for a municipal facility.

Sealed bids are invited for the demolition of selected properties. Bid packets must include liability and property damage insurance, proof of valid workers compensation coverage, contractor's license, and all other necessary certifications and paperwork (Non-Conflict of Interest Certification and Drug Free Workplace Conformance Affidavit). Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, visibly marked "McDowell County Demolition Project Seven," and addressed to the McDowell County Clerk's Office. No bids will be accepted via facsimile or electronic submission. The County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or informalities, and accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the County. o Raise existing structure and remove all construction materials and debris from the site. o Remove all loose debris, litter, and any other trash from the site o Dispose of all materials and debris in a safe and acceptable way o Backfill all ofthe disturbed area and restore the original grade of the site o Rake and level the area with grass seed and mulch with straw. o Project must be completed on or before the date agreed to on the contract.
