The project involves providing comprehensive civil engineering and related professional services for the evaluation, design, and implementation of corrective measures to stabilize a hillside at Pine Hollow Village, 301 E Connelly Blvd, Sharon, PA. The hillside is approximately 125,000 square feet and is experiencing water runoff, erosion, mudslides, and tree destabilization, threatening the safety of nearby residents. The selected firm will be responsible for engineering design, site/civil engineering, bid document preparation, surveying, geotechnical services, and landscape architectural design. Services include site analysis, development of design plans, stormwater management design, erosion and sediment control, structural stabilization solutions, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, grading design, utility coordination, permitting support, preparation of construction documents, topographic survey, subsurface investigation, slope stability analysis, soil remediation recommendations, and vegetative stabilization plans. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope by the deadline and will be evaluated on relevant experience, technical approach, personnel qualifications, cost effectiveness, and the ability to meet the project schedule.
