Renovation of a swimming pool in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.

Work must be performed according to the current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Publication 408, as amended and revised. A Certified Check, Official Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to the "City of Altoona" in an amount equal to ten percent of the bid must be submitted with the proposal. The Bid Bond must remain in effect for sixty days from the bid opening. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informality not material to the bid, awarding the contract as deemed in the City's best interest. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty days after opening. Work on this project will be subject to prevailing wage rates established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Question Deadline 04/24/2026 at 12:00 PM ET Deadline to submit questions via online portal. The cementitious pool finish shall have ceramic tile markings and trim at locations including the pool vertical tile band, stairs, depth markings, and all other tile installations as shown and detailed on the contract drawings and in strict accordance with these specifications.
