Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Altoona, Department of Public Works, for SUPPLEMENTAL STORMWATER MAINTENANCE SERVICES. Proposals must include an original Certified Check, Official Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the "City of Altoona" equal to ten percent of the amount of the bid. The Bid Bond must be effective for sixty days from the bid opening date. Proposals must be sealed and clearly marked "SEALED PROPOSAL FOR SUPPLEMENTAL STORMWATER MAINTENANCE SERVICES" and addressed appropriately. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality not material to the bid, and award the contract as deemed in the best interest of the City. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty days after the opening date. No pre-bidders conference will be held.
