Renovation of a sidewalk / parking lot in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a sidewalk / parking lot.

Sealed proposals will be received electronically via the PennBid Program by the City of Altoona, Department of Public Works, for the following project: 12th Ave & 13th St and 12th Ave & 15th St Parking Lot Renovation. Work performed on this project is to comply with current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Publication 408, as amended and revised. Bidding documents are available at no cost on PennBid. Either an original Certified Check, Official Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond made out to the City of Altoona in an amount equal to ten percent of the bid must be included. The Bid Bond must be valid for sixty days from the bid opening date. The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality not material to the bid, and to award the contract in the best interest of the City. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty days after the date of the opening. Work performed will be subject to prevailing wage rates as established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
