Sealed proposals are requested for the 2026 Capital Street Reconstruction Project, which consists of the placement of Superpave asphalt on various city streets, avenues, and alleys. Work is to be performed in accordance with current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Publication 408, as amended and revised. Bidders must submit an original Certified Check, Official Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond equal to ten percent of the bid amount, effective for sixty days from the bid opening. Proposals must be sealed, clearly marked, and addressed to the City Clerk. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities not material to the bid, and award the contract in the City's best interest. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty days after the opening. Work will be subject to prevailing wage rates as established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
