The work includes the construction of two regulation pickleball courts. Bids must be submitted on the standard forms contained within the contract documents furnished by the Engineer. Each bid is to be accompanied by a Certified Check on a solvent bank or a Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company licensed in Mississippi, amounting to five percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to the owner as bid security. Bidders may be required to submit a current financial statement if requested. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Required documents are to be enclosed in a sealed envelope, with the outside marked clearly as: Pickleball Courts at Elwood Bourgeois Park and the Certificate of Responsibility Number. Bids must be delivered to the City of Waveland at 301 Coleman Avenue, Waveland, MS 39576, or submitted online at https://www.wavelandmsbids.com/ under the project page, before the designated deadline. No oral, telegraphic, telephonic, or email proposals will be considered. All bid proposals must include an acknowledged received copy of all Addenda issued by the Engineer via Plan House. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after its opening without the Owner's consent. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities.
