Renovation of an educational facility in Hamilton Sq, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Partial Roof System Replacement for the Mercer Elementary School as shown in the contract documents bearing the same name. Bids will be received for a combined bid for all work (Single Prime). The project includes, but is not limited to the following items of Work: 1. Removal and disposal of the existing roof system back to the roof decks including all flash ings, vapor barriers, insulation, trim, and recovery board. Replacement shall include prepara tion of existing substrates to receive a new Cold-applied asphalt modified bituminous mem brane roofing system, including vapor barrier, recovery board, insulation stops, flashing, trim, coping and fascia systems, counter flashing, vents, pipes and curbs. This is a limited descrip tion of Work. See all Contract Documents for balance of Scope and Work. Attendance at an in-depth visitation is requested and strongly encouraged due to the special nature of the work involved so that all bidders have an equal understanding of the scope of work involved. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Schools Development Authority as stated in the contract documents, prior to the date bids are received. All bidders, their subcontractors, and their sub-subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, indicating compliance with the Act for work subject to the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act. Contractors should submit copies of their certificate of registration with their bid and include certificates for each named subcontractor listed in its bid form with its bid. Sub-subcontractor certificates must be submitted prior to the sub-subcontractor providing goods or services on this project. The bid must contain a bid security in the amount of ten percent of the bid price, not to exceed twenty thousand dollars, and consent of surety, each in the form and manner required by the contract documents. No oral or other communications during the bidding process shall bind the Board except as contained in a written addendum issued by the Board. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the opening date. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law, if it is in the interest of the Board to do so. The Board may award the contract in whole or in part, select any combination of bids and alternates, may waive any informalities, and may reject any or all bids.
