The work consists of removal of existing roofing and installation of new roofing as designated by plans and specifications. All demolition work must be completed by August 7th, 2026. Bidders are required to possess a C-39 or other applicable California contractor license. Bids must be submitted on the form provided, in sealed envelopes clearly marked with bidder's name and address, project name, bid number, and date and time of bid opening. A bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check amounting to 10% of the total bid price must accompany the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. All workers must be paid not less than prevailing wage rates. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount only. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any irregularity in received bids.
