Site work for a water / sewer project in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a 15,000-square-foot water / sewer project.
The CRD is seeking to prequalify vendors for a subsequent procurement process respecting: The CRD requires construction of Hartland Landfill Cell 5B and related infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to, rock blasting/removal and excavation, installation of a 10m to 15m high mechanically stabilized earth landfill toe berm, access roads and paving , supply and installation of approximately 15,000 m2 HDPE/GCL geomembrane liner and aggregate drainage layering for Cell 5B and Mid Bench Road, supply and installation of leachate and pore pressure relief piping, valving and instrumentation measures for ease of operations, installation of a small lined sedimentation pond, installation of clay berm and leachate containment features at a depths up to ~7m to connect Cell 5B leachate to the Upper Leachate Lagoon, supply and installation of water, landfill gas, leachate, stormwater utilities piping relocation and extension, supply and installation of a prefab wheel wash facility and associated utility services, onsite aggregate processing (with various specifications and quantities) and other Hartland Operations housekeeping items such as perimeter site fencing repair, importation of clay and topsoil, road grading and dust management using onsite processed recycled asphalt.
