Electronic bids are requested for a project involving multi-building pavement repairs. All work for the project, including General, Mechanical, and Electrical Construction, requires a unified bid. Bidders must submit their bids electronically and be registered on the specified plan room website. Each bid must include: 1) a completed Minority, Women's and Veteran's Business Enterprise Participation Plan; 2) bid security for 5% of the total bid; and 3) the contractor's written drug testing program in compliance with Indiana Code. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and waive irregularities. Bids lacking required documentation may be considered incomplete. The Base Bid may be held for up to sixty days before awarding contracts, and Alternate Bids may be held for up to ninety days before incorporation into the contract. If a successful bidder withdraws or fails to execute a contract within ten days after notice of acceptance, the bid security may be forfeited as liquidated damages.
