As of April 21, 2026 the project has been awarded. The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of one building located in Adair County. Work includes appliances, carpentry, drywall and finish, and plumbing and must be completed according to the work write-up. The entire project is required to be fully completed within 30 working days, with a penalty of $100.00 per working day for extensions beyond the construction end date. Bidders must fully complete the mandatory bid response sheet to be considered. Bids will be accepted from both Indian and Non-Indian bidders, but Indian preference will be given to those providing proof of current certification from the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employments Office (TERO), with TERO requirements and associated fees applicable. The project is subject to Section 7(b) of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act, and Wage Rate #OK20260005 Modification #0 applies. Instructions for delivery of bids and submission of required documentation are provided, and it is the bidder's responsibility to ensure bids are received by the deadline. The Housing Authority reserves the right to determine responsiveness, to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract based on the best interest of the Authority, considering total cost and bidder capability.
