*Documents must be purchased from architect in order to be an official bidder.* The work includes the expansion of the drive loop and new sidewalks along with all other associated work as specified and shown on the drawings. Bidders must use and complete all required bid forms and comply with the requirements in the instructions and specifications. Bids must be in sealed envelopes, marked with the project name, and delivered to the Business Administrator. No bids may be submitted by facsimile or electronic transmission. Late bids will be returned unopened. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond of ten percent (10%) of the bid, not exceeding $20,000. Bidders must comply with "The Law Against Discrimination" and Affirmative Action statutes. All bidders and any named subcontractors must have current and effective Public Works Contractor Registration Certificates as of the bid opening date. These certificates may be submitted with the bid or within five business days upon request prior to award. The bidder and its named subcontractors must have a valid Business Registration Certificate before the contract award. Bidders shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction in the trade C054 - SITE WORK. Major subcontractors for Plumbing, Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning, and/or Electric must also be prequalified prior to submission of bids. Required certifications and affidavits must be included for the bidder and all major subcontractors. No bidder on debarred or disqualified lists may bid. An affidavit confirming this status must be provided. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage requirements. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty days after opening. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive immaterial defects, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder responsive to all bid requirements. Ambiguities, errors, or omissions noted by bidders together with all questions and requests for clarifications pertaining to this Request for Bids shall be submitted via e-mail to the attention of the Architect via email at info@fkarch.com by no later than April 16, 2026 at 1:00pm.
