The work consists generally of coating the existing pump station wet well and grinder chamber at 201 J Rogers Lane, replacing the pump station ventilation equipment, installing a new ventilation monitoring system, installing new bypass piping, bypass pumping, and other appurtenances necessary to complete the project. Bidders must have a valid California Class A contractor's license. All prospective bidders are required to carefully review the plans and specifications and inspect and test or otherwise satisfy themselves as to the project site conditions, coordinating with the office of the Rohnert Park City Engineer. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided by the City and must include all items shown on these forms, except where substitute forms are specified. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bids not involving time, price, or quality of the work. Prevailing wage laws and compliance with the Department of Industrial Relations requirements apply, including certified payroll and posting jobsite notices. A payment bond and a performance bond, each for 100% of the bid total, are required for bids exceeding $25,000.
